Description: A multicultural celebration of light in our darkest season! We'll explore everything from Channukah to Yule in this deep dive of culture, geography, food, music and joy. Themes of light, reflection, giving and renewal abound in this workshop. Rather than cookies, this time we'll be constructing an entire winter village out of gingerbread, royal icing and sweet treats. Everyone will take home a building of their choice!

Your instructor: Katie has been baking for friends, family and strangers as well as teaching adults and kids, professionally and as a volunteer for the past several decades. This workshop combines her love for all things family baking with her experience homeschooling her two kids (who will be helping with the workshop!). She is passionate about reading aloud with her kids and promoting a love for literature and storytelling at a young age.
